Our Two-Year-Old program is a lightly structured, nurturing environment designed to give our little ones a fun and positive introduction to their first school experience. Through play, music, movement, and hands-on activities, children begin building important social and learning skills while developing confidence and independence.
Each day includes opportunities for children to play with friends, practice sharing, sing songs, listen to stories, and create age-appropriate crafts. We read a wide variety of books, enjoy snack time together, spend time outdoors exploring, and dig in the sandbox. Our outdoor play time provides the children with opportunities to build coordination, develop confidence, use their imagination, and enjoy active play with their classmates. Our teachers are experienced in helping children through separation anxiety and understand the importance of creating a warm, comforting, and supportive classroom environment as children adjust to school routines.
Throughout the year, the children are introduced to early learning concepts through play-based experiences that support social-emotional growth, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and STEM exploration. We also provide various introductions to early thinking and learning skills such as letter and number recognition through engaging, hands-on activities, crafts, songs, and play experiences that are developmentally appropriate for young learners.
Our primary goal in the two-year-old class is simple: for every child to feel safe, loved, and excited to come to school each day
